Experiential and Service Learning

Community service is embedded in Alvernia University's Franciscan values and remains an important part of our educational mission today. The Communication and Digital Media Department incorporates service into specific classes offered through experiential learning to not only give back, but to have hands on experience in their field. The department also ensures that the students get experiential learning experiences outside of these service learning classes.
